During the Spring 1 Session, gymnasts will be preparing for our annual Gymnastics Fun Meet being held on Sunday, April 27. This gives our students the opportunity to see what it is like to compete in a meet. Our YMCA Gymnastics Team Members will be the judges. All participants will learn the routines and have the option to compete on all four events. However, if they are uncomfortable on a certain event, they do not have to compete on it.
If you are unavailable for April 27, your child can perform their routines on the last day of class (April 21-April 26) and still receive a shirt and a medal. Everyone registering for our Fun Meet will finish as winners, receiving a medal and a t-shirt.
The cost to register to participate is $35.00, and registration is due by Saturday, March 29. Registrations received after this day will incur a $5.00 late fee. Flowers can be purchased for an additional $14.00 (Sunday event only). All proceeds from flower purchases will go towards the gymnastics program. All class participants must register whether your child is participating or not. Non-participants will be adjusted to $0.00 in the cart.
