The Leader In Training program is a blended, two-week camp experience for teens. This opportunity will introduce teens to the Y leadership philosophy, facilitating character development, learning to build and lead activities, as well as give them time to enjoy being a camper.

The Counselor In Training (CIT) program is a four-week camp experience for the teen who wants to make a difference, and potentially work in camp when they are of age. In this program, participants will work on individual and group dynamics, character development, life skills, and more! They will learn about and gain introductions to assisting with programming. Additionally, these teens will go through interview training, completing an application, build a community service project, and finally, complete their session with a capstone project! A certificate will be provided at a recognition event at the end of the summer.

NEW! We are excited to offer transportation for our Manchester families daily. Transportation will depart from the YMCA of Downtown Manchester and transport campers to the YMCA Day Camp of Hooksett at Hooksett Memorial School each morning. After the primary camp day concludes, the bus will return those campers to the YMCA. Approximate bus departure each morning is 7:45am and the return is 4:45pm. Early drop off starting at 7:00am is available, as well as late pick-up until 5:30pm. Campers who miss transportation in the morning will need to be driven to the YMCA Day Camp of Hooksett and checked in there. If a camper needs to leave early (appointments, behaviors, etc.), the parent/guardian will need to sign-out and pick-up at the YMCA Day Camp of Hooksett. Final details will be made available as we get closer to camp beginning.
