You don't have to be the GOAT to be destined for great fun in the Y World of Sports! Come enjoy some of the classics like basketball, newer trends like pickleball, and even some unconventional ones like quidditch! This week will include some off-site trips for activities.

There are so many forms of art, and we are on an adventure to make a few! Find joy working with various mediums of art such as paint, clay, photograpy, paper, and more, all of which will culminate to an art exhibit in the Y lobby for all to see!

Join us as we travel back to ancient Egypt, the Medieval Era, the Renaissance Era, and then fast forward to the Industrial Revolution! We cant wait to see your camper travel back in time!

Time to let out your adventurous side! Join us for a week jam-packed with team-building exercises, group and individual challenges, and climbing to new heights! The week will begin with testing your ability to work as a team with activities like human knot, obstacle courses, and an escape room. Next campers will be tasked to complete different missions on our low ropes course, before advancing to high ropes the following day. Finally, we will be ending the week using our indoor climbing gym! Let the adventures begin!

Let’s rewind to a time when dinosaurs walked the earth over 66 million years ago! Get ready for a week of exploration, discovery, and fun as we embark on a journey to a different world. Campers will learn about dinosaurs and the prehistoric world through STEM activities, mock digs for fossils, skeleton building, dinosaur identification, egg making and so much more!

A picture is worth a thousand words. Over the course of the week, campers will get to work with various cameras, learning to take pictures in various landscapes, capturing authentic memories around camp and making albums to document! Campers will also get to enjoy a few of the traditional day camp.

Artists from far and near, we’ve heard the calls and want to welcome you to our Artist’s Retreat! It’s time to let your inner artist shine. Throughout the week we will accomplish many complex art projects! Grab your smock and get ready to, create mosaic tiles, build sculptures, make candles, sew canvas bags, and design your own blanket! Artists, are you ready?

Calling all chefs! Are you ready for a week of Kitchen Competitions? We sure are! Campers will become Chefs as they spend the week competing with each other to make the finest dishes, create the best menus, and provide the best service to the judges! Campers will work in teams to navigate a variety of challenges throughout the week. They will be tasked with creating a dish using only specific ingredients, duplicating a dish created by the judges, working faster than the clock to make a three-course meal, and providing the quickest and smoothest service. Please note, that we will be using dairy and eggs throughout the week.

An exciting week of tennis instruction, practice, games and activities for beginner to intermediate skill levels! Campers receive instruction individualized to the camper's skill level on playing strategies, basic techniques, and rules. Instructors emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, and etiquette. Each day includes recreational swimming and one day a week for rock climbing. Campers are asked to wear sneakers with non-marking soles.

Come take an adventure in art. We will start the week with a day trip to Art Escape in Laconia, NH for some make-and-take projects. Then, explore art in the outdoors each day as we take hikes and learn about an artist famed for working with natural materials. We'll explore nature through photography, sketching, painting, and sculpture. Finally, we'll travel to the beach to create sand art. The studio fee for Art Escape is included in the price of camp.

Teen Trip is more than just a camp; it's a summer vacation! Teens will spend their summer traveling the northern New England area exploring all the fun adventures it holds. From boogie boarding at the beach and catching a game at the Worcester Red Sox and enjoying the occasional arcade and challenge courses. There is never a dull moment at camp!

Parents will choose which level they would like their camper to be for the summer. Teens assigned to Level 1 will spend their day with our experienced trip camp staff and other teens as a group. Level 2 allows teens to explore our destination with fellow teens and they are given designated check-in times throughout the day. If you have further questions about our options, please contact the Teen Trip Director. 

The Leader In Training program is a blended, two-week camp experience for teens. This opportunity will introduce teens to the Y leadership philosophy, facilitating character development, learning to build and lead activities, as well as give them time to enjoy being a camper. We also have before care, after care, and a weekly BBQ for all campers, all at no additional cost.

The Counselor In Training (CIT) program is a four-week camp experience for the teen who wants to make a difference, and potentially work in camp when they are of age. In this program, participants will work on individual and group dynamics, character development, life skills, and more! They will learn about and gain introductions to assisting with programming. Additionally, these teens will go through interview training, completing an application, build a community service project, and finally, complete their session with a capstone project! A certificate will be provided at a recognition event at the end of the summer.

During this half day camp, your preschooler can now attend camp like a big kid! Campers will participate in Gymnastics, crative arts, and a variety of games and activitied. Campers must be 4 years old on or before the first day of camp.

The perfect camp experience for beginner to advanced gymnasts entering grades 1-4. Campers will learn a multitude of skills and techniques from our talented coaching staff on all of the competitive gymnastics events. Come and join the fun!

This camp is geared towards beginner and advanced gymnasts entering grades 5-9. Our talented coaching staff works with every gymnast on a variety of individual skills and techniques based on their ability using gymnastics events and more.  Come and join the fun and learn a new skill or two!

If you want to focus on moving to the next level or you have aspirations to become a gymnastics team member, this camp is for you! This camp is a great way to prepare and refine your skills for the upcoming fall session. Must be a current Girls Level 2 or higher; coming to this camp does not guarantee that you will move up.

This camp is designed for the competitive team gymnast. Throughout the week, we will work on the higher level skills needed to compete and get a jump start on the 2024 – 2025 competitive season. Each day includes a recreational swim. Campers must be part of the YMCA gymnastics team or have permission from the gymnastics director or head coach to enroll.

Dance, flip, jump, cheer, and perform stunts at this camp for girls entering grades 1-4. Trained coaches provide a fun experience for both beginner and advanced cheerleaders. Throughout the week campers learn skills, techniques, and different routines. A performance will be held on Friday at 3:15 pm in the gymnastics facility.

With the use of our Gymnastics 2 Ninja system, warrior obstacles, the tumble track, pit, cargo net and gymnastics equipment, you can come and explore gymnastics, ninja and adventure throughout this fun-filled week! 

Do you have a middle schooler or teenager who loves American Ninja Warrior and wants to test their skills? Here is their chance for campers entering grades 5-9 to try ninja and gymnastics rolled into one week of camp!
