GYM Spring Spectactular Meet

Time/Date: Sunday, July 19th, 8:00am warm-up / 9:05am start. Positive check-in is required for all swimmers by 8:35am. Deck changes must be in by 8:50am. NO deck entries will be accepted.

Directions: The Granite YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown, 116 Goffstown Back Road, Goffstown, NH 03045 (Google Maps). From Exit 6 on Rte 293: Follow to Amoskeag St/Amoskeag Traffic Circle to Goffstown Road/Goffstown Back Road to Allard Center. Please use second entrance to West Lot. Enter through the main entrance doors located in the Upper Lot.

Facility: The Allard Center Outdoor Competition Pool is a 5-lane, 25-yard pool with seven-foot-wide lanes and non-turbulent lane lines. We will be utilizing Dolphin timers and will post times to Meet Mobile as quickly as possible. There are no touchpads at the turn end of the pool. The finish end of the pool is 9 feet deep; the turn end of the pool is 3.5 feet deep.

Pool Certification Statement: The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1

Warm-up/Warm-down: There will be 5-10 minute breaks between the strokes that will allow for warmup and cooldown.

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers aged 18 and older. Your age is your age on the day of the meet. If USMS-registered, please include your full USMS ID# in the online form. You can get a copy from your online USMS account at USMS Membership Card. Online USMS membership registration is available at USMS Join or Renew.

Fees: $20/person for up to 5 individual events for entries received by July 12.  Late entries until Wednesday, July 15 will be accepted at a cost of $30/person.  Swimmers are permitted to enter a MAXIMUM of five (5) individual events.

Entries: Select up to 5 individual events. Please enter short-course yards times for all selected events. Seeding will be from slow to fast regardless of age and gender. If you do not enter a seed time, you will be seeded with No Time and placed in the first heat.

Relay Entries: Can be deck seeded. If you have a relay team in mind, it would be helpful to email Adam Gaulin in advance.

Awards: Heat winner prizes will be given! No place awards will be given.

Rules: Current USMS rules for Masters Swimming will apply. Swimmers will be seeded in heats according to times; heats will run slowest to fastest regardless of age or sex. No equipment is allowed at any time, to include smart watches. No diving during warm-up except in designated lanes.
