SCHEDULE: June 8, 9, 22, & 23, 9am - 6pm. Must attend all 4 days.

The Granite YMCA provides lifeguard certification courses where you'll learn through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice. Your training will focus on areas such as:

• Rescue skills for use in the water and on land
• First Aid and Professional Rescuer CPR/AED training to help you prepare for an emergency
• Professional lifeguard responsibilities

Students must pass the physical skills test prior to the class and must be 16 years of age by the last day of the course. 8-12 hours of self-paced online work required prior to class.
